The Ghana Palliative Care Association (GPCA) was established in 2006 with the primary aim of advancing and advocating for palliative care services throughout Ghana. The association emerged in response to the growing recognition of the need for comprehensive palliative care to improve the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
